powers : Maeve can spin webs of strings that will entangle a person and puppeteer them around to do what she wants them to do. She doesn't have to use her hands to control the strings unless she is mentally exhausted. Usually just her brain power will do. The strings are invisible, more based on spiritual power than actual threads.

H I S T O R Y

The youngest of five, Maeve grew up with only older brothers, the youngest seven years her senior, in Cork, Ireland. The Ahearnes were Catholic, and quite dragged the average number of 1.8 children per family up, but after Maeve, no more siblings seemed to appear, and her older brothers were glad for that fact. They could pretend their parents had stopped having sex.

Since she was so much younger than everyone else, Maeve quite early on attached herself to the boy next door instead, Desmond Lawrence. She either dragged him places or followed him when he wanted to go somewhere. He was a year older than her, but that didn't turn into a problem before Des was starting school. So Maeve pleaded with her parents to start with him, and being headstrong when she put her will to it, they had to relent, managing to get her in Des' year.

She spent her years in school as an average student, and passed everything with some effort and help from her brothers. When she was sixteen, she entered an acting class, taking Des with her for emotional support, and since then, she never wanted to quit. It was fun, acting, and she wasn't half-bad at it, so when the time came to choose colleges, Maeve settled on the School of Drama, Music and Film at Trinity College, in Dublin, and eventually Des decided to join her.

After about a year at the school, auditions for a new PBS show were announced in Dublin, and Maeve thought she could at least try, so she dragged Des with her. Auditioning for the part of Margaery Tyrell, Maeve impressed the directors enough to be considered for the part, and when Des was offered the part of Loras Tyrell after having been partly pushed, partly asked to audition, there was nothing more for it.

They moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, to start filming.

While in Ireland, Maeve had never noticed anything unusual about herself, but once she got to Johannesburg, there was something always nagging at the back of her mind, and she found herself being able to move things without meaning to. She's been waving it away, however, because that kind of thing is impossible.

She's unaware of her destiny, though not her powers so much anymore.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Maeve is cheerful to a fault. There is very very few things that will get her down, and she tries to spread joy as much as she can. She very rarely gets angry or upset, though can easily be embarassed, if you hit the right buttons.

She is very including, and will go out of her way to socialize with even the most apathetic and anti-social stoic. Maeve is patient and accepting, to a point that people will call her naive, and they might be right. She's a good mediator and organizer, but if she takes on too much, she's been known to have it blow up in her face and have to ask certain trusty friends for help.

A P P E A R A N C E

A bit on the short side for an Irish girl her age, Maeve has brownish blonde curls that fall down somewhere around her waist. She smiles a lot of the time and a lot of her seems to be shining, but people usually scoff it off on their imagination, and she really can't be sure herself sometimes.

Slender, but not slim nor voluptuous. Maeve really puts people in a good mood just by looking at her, she's very open and cheerful and welcoming, everything about her is, really.
